HOSPICE CARE

Hospice care provides compassionate support for individuals facing a life-limiting illness, with a focus on comfort, dignity, and quality of life. When a patient chooses hospice, the emphasis shifts away from aggressive treatment and toward caring for the whole person—body, mind, and spirit.

Each patient receives a personalized plan of care designed to manage pain and symptoms while also providing emotional and spiritual support. Our interdisciplinary team includes physicians, registered nurses, respiratory therapists, certified nursing assistants, social workers, chaplains, grief counselors, and trained volunteers who work together to support both patients and their families.

Hospice care is available to patients with a life expectancy of six months or less and requires a physician’s order for admission. If you are considering hospice for yourself or a loved one, we are here to answer questions, provide guidance, and help you understand your options.

Understanding Hospice Coverage

Who pays for hospice care?
